Hi,
a good idea, but one little thing makes this plugin useless (at least for me). A post has to have all it's categories checked to be displayed. Since every post usually has more than one category, I have to have all categories checked and it makes no sense :)

I have the same problem as the guy who wrote first comment here.
I must login two time, on WP and then on SMF.
Some of my users cant login at all on WP, after clicking on login they get same screen for login over and over again.
But when someone register on smf, he is registered on WP and thats good. Can you please tell me how to resolve this problem?
And i have latest version of WP 3.3.1 and SMF 2.0.2

Just an idea, do you need to access some files from SMF and alter them? Because I upload them as different user than under which is run apache. So maybe if you try to make some changes, then its forbiden by server security and SMF2WP just doesnt handle this type of error and says its still disabled...

Hi, just installed your plugin on fresh WP 3.3.1 and latest SMF 2.0.2. Plugin installs fine, but cannot figure how to turn it on. In settings I set correct path to /forum/ (plugin recommends different URI with full path from /var/... but it doesnt work and says cant find SMF).

So path to /forum/ is accepted, but plugin still says

SMF2WP has not been configured properly and is not active!

This plugin may not work, because you did not uncheck "Enable local storage of cookies" and "Use subdomain independent cookie" in SMF settings!

I doublechecked bot options in SMF admin, both are unchecked. Any idea how to make it work?

Thanks for any tips!

Hi, I've got WP 3.3.1 and SMF 2.0.2 and everything works beautifully...except that users get registered in WP over and over again. That is there are, for example, several users named User1, same username, same e-mail.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I am trying to get SMF2WP to work with version 3.3.1 of WP.

I keep getting the error message "This plugin may not work, because you did not uncheck "Enable local storage of cookies" and "Use subdomain independent cookie" in SMF settings!"

Both are unchecked in SMF server settings.

I'd appreciate some suggestions!

Thanks

Bob

Hi,

I have tried to install this plugin a couple of times, so far without any success.

The messages:

I've tried with a fresh install of SMF 2.0.1 and a fresh Wordpress 3.0.1. Even installed SMF under wordpress but I still get the quite annoying:

"SMF2WP has not been configured properly and is not active!"
"This plugin may not work, because you did not uncheck "Enable local storage of cookies" and "Use subdomain independent cookie" in SMF settings!"

The SMF _has_"local storage of cookies" & "subdomain independent cookies" unchecked.

Is there anything more I can do?

Best regards,

Thomas Koos

I have installed this plugin. it seems to work properly until i found this problem. I cannot log into wordpress dashboard as administrator. it always take me back to wp-login. I can log in with another username with subscriber role though. Did i miss anything?
